Community Partners

We’d like to thank our partners for helping us with our Community Make initiative. They are organizations, makers, volunteers, and generous humans who have made all this possible.

The Maker Bean Cafe

The Maker Bean Cafe located in Toronto has been our headquarters for 3D printing, laser cutting, and distribution. They offer classes, workshops, kids camps and host events all under the same roof as a welcoming cafe. Support them by buying a gift card.

Mask Makers Club

We’ve joined Shopify’s Mask Makers Club! It is a global collective of sewists, makers, and entrepreneurs united in the mission to slow the spread of COVID-19 by supporting local communities and bringing a bit of joy in every mask we make.

If you make non-medical grade face masks or you need a mask, visit their website to find a nearby mask maker and support a local business.

New Toronto Makeshore

New Toronto Makeshore is Toronto’s smallest makerspace, operating out of a tiny basement in south Etobicoke. Founded in 2014 by Stu Bailey, New Toronto Makeshore does projects in and around the community, in collaboration and working remotely. 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, woodworking, papercraft, etching, simple electronics, and little free libraries are all examples of activities and projects that New Toronto Makeshore creates. Contact stu@newtorontomakeshore.ca for more information, or visit www.newtorontomakeshore.ca to see examples of past projects.
